Launched on World Animal Day, this limited edition, sustainably sourced t-shirt collection, has been designed by a team of animal-loving celebrity supporters.
The 'Full Stop' Collection
Designed by ZSL celebrity supporters Lorraine Kelly, Dougie Poynter, Dame Twiggy Lawson and Steve Backshall, the collection puts nature at the heart of its wildlife designs and features Humboldt penguins, Sumatran tigers, chameleon and big-headed turtles - species threatened in the wild and part of important global breeding programmes our world-famous conservation zoos - London Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo.
Our Full Stop Celebri-tees are unisex and are available in Adult (size XS to XXL) and Child (size 2-4 years up to 11-12 years)
Lorraine Kelly CBE
Lorraine is a Scottish television presenter, journalist and author, best known for her ITV show, Lorraine. She is a keen charity supporter and has a huge passion for animals.
“I loved being part of this new t-shirt collection, which has such an important purpose – to help put a full stop to extinction. Buying one of the t-shirts is a great way to support the international conservation charity ZSL, their vital conservation work and the animals they take such great care of at both London and Whipsnade Zoo. Obviously, I had to feature a penguin, as I love them so much that London Zoo famously named one after me in 2014 – I’ve come back to see Lorraine as often as I can ever since."
Dame Twiggy Lawson
Twiggy is an English model, actress, and singer. She is a British cultural icon and garnered worldwide fame when she became one of the world’s first supermodels in the 1960’s. She received two Golden Globe awards for her first film “The Boyfriend “. She went on to star on Broadway in the hit musical “My One & Only”, for which she was nominated for a Tony award. She has recorded several albums, designed her own ranges of clothing, written several books and now has her own podcast “Tea with Twiggy”. She was made a Dame in 2019, for her services to fashion, arts and charity. Twiggy is a huge animal lover and a big supporter of ZSL London Zoo, and visits regularly with her family.
"I wanted to highlight some of the most threatened species facing extinction today, from Critically Endangered Sumatran tigers to Endangered Asian elephants - species that ZSL is working so hard to conserve. I worked with my daughter Carly, a designer, and I came up with our t-shirt design. Animal lovers can show their support for the international conservation charity's work by buying and wearing their own 'full stop top' - Carly and I loved designing it, and can't wait to see people wearing it!"
Steve Backshall
Steve Backshall is an adventurer, natural history TV presenter, public speaker and author. One of television’s busiest presenters, BAFTA award-winning wildlife expert Steve Backshall has been passionate about the wild world ever since he could crawl. In 2014 Steve Backshall hosted Deadly 60's at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, part of the Deadly Aerial Assassins. Now, he is a regular visitor to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.
Steve made sure his favourite animal, the chameleon, was centre stage in his colourful t-shirt.
Dougie Poynter
Dougie Poynter is a musician, songwriter, designer and author. Dougie has been obsessed with natural history and dinosaurs from the age of three when he visited the Natural History Museum with his mum. He is passionate about the natural world, a keen conservationist and recently helped launch The Komodo Dragon experience at ZSL London Zoo in 2021. He is committed to cleaning up the planet and continues to be instrumental in the campaign to ban microplastics in the UK.
Dougie Poynter also went wild for reptiles with his design - which features London Zoo’s Komodo dragon Ganas, alongside a marine turtle and Endangered Mangshan pit viper.
