How does ZSL help gorillas?
ZSL researchers are working with communities across Central Africa to protect gorillas. In Gabon, they've helped develop low-impact tourism to provide sustainable income while monitoring gorilla health to prevent disease. In Congo and Cameroon, ZSL supports park authorities and local communities to safeguard both mountain and lowland gorillas. These efforts help people live alongside wildlife while conserving endangered species.
